July 2018 Newsletter President’s Comments

Hi Quilters,
It was great to see so many people at the June meeting. The new slate of officers was voted in and we are off to a great new year.
This next meeting is Christmas in July, so bring two wall hangings (one for exchange and one for the Treasure Trove). Penny Snyder will also review how to get your quilt ready for the Quilt Show.

August 1, 2018 is when the STQG Quilt Show Entry forms are due. Bring them filled out with a picture to the July meeting (July 10 in South Fork, 2nd Tuesday in July) or mail them in (address on the form).

Come to our Quilt Retreat August 23-25 at Beaver Creek Youth Camp. Sign up at the July meeting or call Karen Ferguson to get added to the list. This is a really fun event to attend.
