The calendar says it is still fall yet the weather is bringing snow to Colorado and even Kansas. Brrrrrr!!!!!
Thanksgiving is just a few weeks away and time to reflect on the many things we have to be thankful for. I’m most thankful for my quilting
friends, especially those that are a part of the Silver Threads Quilt Guild.
You are a wonderful group of ladies that are not only talented but very caring and giving. You have spent hours making quilts to warm the hearts
of others at various places of need including the Ronald McDonald House in Colorado Springs.
I have been busy quilting the 2020 raffle quilt today and hope to have the quilt complete in the next few days. Beth Kendall did a marvelous job
piecing the quilt. I’m anxious to see it complete as I’m sure you are. I hope you have been able to spend some time working on a quilt(s) for the
show or item(s) for the Treasure Trove.
Remember if there is information that you would like to get to guild members, please send me those items by the 25th of each month so they
can be placed in the monthly newsletter. (pennylousnyder@gmail.com) Hoping that you will be spending time with family and/or friends and
reflecting on the any thing you have to be thankful for during this Thanksgiving season.
