September 2017 Newsletter President’s Comments

Hi Quilters,

We had a great time at our yearly retreat, and we have plenty of room for more of our members to attend next year (August 23-25, 2018 Thurs-Sat).  We’d love to have more people attend, even if you just want to come down for the day(s).  We made a lot of items for the treasure trove and are well on our way.

Our thoughts and prayers and phones were focused on hurricane Harvey which made a direct hit on Sheralyn Humbles house (it is still standing and looks good from a drone view) and Houston where my kids live (they are all high and dry, but it continues to rain and will for the rest of the week.
